Autumn Campailla

Autumn was a competitive ice dancer.  She started skating at 12 years old and was coached by Chris Martin and Helen McGrew.  In high school, she decided she had a love and passion for ice dancing, mostly being lifted into the air and skating with a partner!  She and her former ice dance partner were coached by Bruce Montemayor and Jerry Santoferrara.  She also worked with Olympian Paul Duchesnay, Chip Rossbach, and Franklyn Singley throughout her competitive ice dance career.  She has been coaching for over 20 years and has coached beginners through national-level competitors across the Cleveland area.  Over the years, she has choreographed and directed numerous ice shows for Center Ice Skating Club and Strongsville Skating Club. Autumn is a secondary coach to many of the coaches/skaters at Center Ice helping skaters excel in stroking, power, edge quality, posture, Moves in the Field, and Ice Dance.

Autumn has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Education both from Kent State University.  She teaches 6th grade Math.  She has a teenage daughter who plays Junior Olympic Volleyball.
